John A. DeCapua, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026.

John was the beloved husband of Clara (DeSanto) DeCapua. He was the devoted son of the late Frank and Lena (Simenello) DeCapua, the loving brother of Jo Ann Corradetti, Rose Marie Drew, and Frank DeCapua, and a loving father to Vincent (Amie) DeCapua, Matthew DeCapua, John (Hannah) DeCapua, and Peter (Katherine) DeCapua.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Matthew, Alexandra, Dylan, Vincent, Nina Bella, Giuliana, Frankie, and Mia Bella. He was also a cherished uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.

John will be remembered for his love and unwavering devotion to his family, his strength of character, and the kindness he shared with those around him. His presence, wisdom, and generous heart will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate John's life during visitation on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 28870 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, Ohio.
