ROBERTA “BONNIE” KING

November 7, 1942 ~ March 29, 2021 (age 78) 78 Years Old

ROBERTA KING Obituary

Roberta (Bonnie) G. Quincy King passed away peacefully

on March 29, 2021. Bonnie was the daughter of Robert

and Mary (Huffard) Quincy. She was born in Cleveland, OH

on November 7, 1942 and lived in Cleveland Heights. She

attended St. Ann's School and graduated from Beaumont School

in 1960. After high school she attended John Carroll University and

worked at Ohio Bell. 

Bonnie married Howard King in 1965. Together they had 4 children,

Kathleen, Robert, James and Anne. They were together almost 50 years.

She had eight grandchildren who were the light of her life. Later in life,

she reconnected with her first love. Bonnie lived in Euclid the rest of her life.

She was active in her children's lives and in the community making life-long

friends through PTA, Scouts, sports and work. She loved her neighbors and

friends as family. She was active in the Red Hat Society and the Euclid Senior Center. 

She never met a stranger. Bonnie is survived by her children Kathleen (Joseph) Guy,

Robert (Linda) King, James (Jennifer) King and Anne Voght; her grandchildren Victoria King,

Ethan King, Julia King, Quincy King, Grace King, Lauren Voght, Alexandra Voght, and William Voght;

her sister Patricia (Jack, deceased) Zeller, nieces Rita Valois, Maureen (Tom) Coerdt, and nephew

John Zeller; great nieces Brigette Valois and Kathleen Coerdt; and her special friend Marty Bower.

Her memory will live on through a great many friends who she would count as her family. 

A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be held on April 23, 2021 at Communion of Saints parish

(St. Ann's) in Cleveland Heights at 10:00am, with visitation with family starting at 9:30am.

Bonnie will be greatly missed.
