Carlo passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Carlo was born in Campobasso, Italy, on April 13, 1955, to Gaetano and Assunta (nee Carminati)
Ferretti (both deceased). Carlo moved to America when he was just 14 years old, where he met the love of his life,
Rose; they married on February 26, 1977.
Carlo was a talented self-taught welder, amongst many other skills and talents. He enjoyed nothing more than
spending time with his family, whether it was on weekly coffee nights in the backyard or on a road trip to Niagara Falls.
Carlo also enjoyed his casino visits, good wine, and good cigars. And he loved his “little buddy”, his dog - Giorgio!
Carlo is survived by his beloved wife, Rose (nee Scalese), his two children, Melissa Sue Ferretti and Adam Carlo Ferretti (Mindy).
His brother, Franco (Anna) and his sisters, Lucia (Aldo) and Rita (Leno deceased), all of Campobasso, Italy.
Carlo was an extraordinary grandfather (or Grampie as the kids called him!), survived by his four grandchildren -
Emma Rose Ammerman, Mila Ilyana Ferretti, Aeden Cane Ferretti and Mara Jade Ferretti.
Carlo was an uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews, both here in America and in Italy,
whom he loved unconditionally.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Alfonso (Carmela) Ferretti and Giovanni (Giuliana) both of Campobasso, Italy;
his sister, Cora (Paul) Lanzone of Chardon, Ohio, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Julia (nee Fuhrman)
Scalese of Willoughby, Ohio.
There will be a one-hour visiting period at Holy Redeemer Church 15712 Kipling Ave., in Collinwood on Saturday,

A luncheon for family and friends will take place afterward at the Italian American Club 29717 Euclid Ave,
