Voase and Jimmy Mitchell; beloved daughter of Charles

and Marion Parise (nee Arrigo) (both deceased); dear sister

of Carmen (Marion); Aunt, great aunt and great great aunt

to many. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Tuesday August

6, at Holy Rosary Church, 12021 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland,

Where the family will receive friends 9:30am until time of Mass.

Interment Lake View Cemetery.

Carol was born in the Little Italy section of Cleveland on February 6, 1941

and she loved telling stories about growing up “down the neighborhood”.

She went to Murray Hill  School and then Ursuline High and was always very

proud of what a good student she was.Carol and her husband Chuck built a

great life for themselves and their kids, which included breakfast at Perkins almost

every day for 40 years!  She enjoyed all the vacations to Florida and Vegas with her

brother’s family and her cousins and she especially loved holidays and birthdays when

everyone was together. In her later years, Carol loved lunching with her friends, chatting

on the phone, watching the Indians,  OSU football and attending her class reunions

(which she seemed to have once a month). Her biggest joy though was spending time

with her children and beloved grandchildren (especially Jimmy, who was her favorite!). 

Anyone who knew Carol knows that she’s at peace with those who have passed before

her including her beloved Chuck.
