Cristina (Lemmo) DiLillo

CRISTINA DiLillo age 94, entered into heaven December 24, 2023.

Cristina was born March 12, 1929, in Matrice, Italy to Giovanni

and Maria Giovanna Lemmo. In Matrice she met and

married Salvatore DiLillo. The family moved to Brazil in 1959.

From there they moved to Cleveland, Ohio (Collinwood). In 2001

she moved to Highland Heights, Ohio.

She took much pride in her garden. She enjoyed playing bocce at

Holy Redeemer Church League, going to casinos, making sausage,

traveling and cooking for family and friends. She never missed a game

of 31 on Saturday afternoons with her friends. She took great care of

cats, even cooking chicken and fish for them. She was preceeded in

death by her parents, husband and brothers Fr. Nicolo and Giuseppe

(Maria) Lemmo. She is survived by her two sons Joe (Bernice) and

Mario, her three grandchildren Joe, Maryann (Steve) and David.

Cristina will be missed by all that knew her. Towards the end she

said she enjoyed her life and was ready to go. Special thanks to

Anna Maria of Aurora, Mt. St. Joseph nursing home and Western

Reserve Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM Friday

December 29, at Holy Redeemer Church, (PLEASE MEET AT

CHURCH), Interment Lake View Cemetery. The family will
