DEL ANTHONY MASTRANGELO

Del Anthony Mastrangelo, 87, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home

on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Born December 30, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to

Domenic and Philomena Mastrangelo. He grew up in Cleveland, (Little Italy) Ohio

and graduated from East Tech High School in 1948. Del was a veteran of the

United States Army, attended Miami of Ohio and graduated with a degree in

 History and Government in 1956.   He was passionate about teaching and

 touched the lives of many people over his 30+ years of teaching in the W-E

School District. Del was a member of the Oratinese Club and Little Italy Retires.

 He loved to spend his free time with family, gardening, making wine, and

photography.

Del married Pauline (nee Ranallo) on November 30, 1963; they were happily

married for 53 years. He is survived by his wife Pauline, son Del, daughter Anne

(Jud) Howarth, and three grandchildren Madeline, Amy, and Jack. Preceded in

death by his siblings Evelino (Elizabeth), Olivia (Dante) Cornacchione and sister in

law Antoinette (Daniel) Tirabasso. Also survived by in laws Anna, Tony (Jo)

 Mass of Christian Burial 9:30am Saturday November 18, at Holy Rosary Church,

12021 Mayfield Road, Cleveland. Interment Lake View Cemetery. The family will

receive friends at THE VITANTONIO-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME
