Marion; stepmother of Marian Schepel; step grandmother
of Kimberly Hendricks. Beloved aunt of Randy Spoth, Jorgene
Spoth Cola, Gregory Spoth, John Nestor, Judy Spoth Thornell,
Jeannie Spoth Devaney, Jane Spoth Fitzpatrick (deceased),
George Spoth , Raymond Spoth Jr. and many great nieces
and nephews. Devoted daughter of George and Marie Spoth.
Dear siter of Nelson Spoth, Julie Cosentino, Sadie Nestor and
Raymond Spoth. Doris received her bachelor's degree from
Baldwin Wallace University and her master's degree from
Michigan State University in 1949, where she played in the
Michigan State Marching Band. She had a long career in
television broadcasting and held leadership roles in several
community organizations. She was a lifelong learner who
dedicated her retirement years to teaching for the Institute
for Learning in Retirement and planning programs for her
fellow residents at Judson Manor. Memorial contributions may
be made for scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University,
275 Eastland Rd. Berea, OH 44017 or to Judson Retirement
Community 2181 Ambleside Dr., Cleveland, OH 44106.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am Thursday November 7,
at Holy Rosary Church 12021 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland.
Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery Cleveland.
