DONALD J. LOMBARDO age 86; beloved husband of the late

Donna (nee Talerico); loving father of Dr. Anne Lombardo-Chokenea

(Chuck), Cheryl Lombardo-Regalbuto (Larry Holstein),

Karen Lombardo (Kenny Coven) and Mary Lombardo-Regalbuto

(Ron Onorato); devoted grandfather of Rachele, Brianna (Chris),

Gabriele, Jacqueline (Adam), Michael, Dr. Avalon (Braden), Nicole (Joe),

Samantha, Frankie, Renee, Charlie, Donte, Marco, Anthony, Nina,

Isabele and Delilah; great grandfather of Giovanni and Alessio.

Beloved son of Thomas and Mary (nee Galuppo) (both deceased);

dear brother of Lorna Webb (Don) (both deceased) and Tommy (Joyce).

Donald was born in Collinwood, and graduated in the first class at

St. Joseph High School in 1954. During his years at Saint Joe’s he

 excelled in football, art and golf. He was an All-City Golf Champion.

 He was devoted to Catholicism, and in high school he would lead the

 rosary in the auditorium and team prayers before football games.

With his charm, wit and humor he married the love of his life Donna Jo.

Together they adored four loving daughters. He cherished his 17

 grandchildren and two great grandchildren whom he called his “babies.”

He often said, “I know my babies from the top of their heads to their

tippy toes.” Donald’s life, legacy and stories will live through family

and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Saturday October 1st,

at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland, where

the family will receive friends 9:00am until time of Mass.

Interment All Souls Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers,

Contributions may be made in Donald's name to

Holy Redeemer Church.
