JOHN STEWART RALEIGH

JOHN STEWART RALEIGH age 79, passed away August 4, 2020;

beloved husband of Winifred “Winkie” (nee Hall). Loving father of

John and Stephanie Raleigh, Sarah and Dave Mooney, Timothy and Kristina Raleigh

and Kerin Raleigh. Beloved brother of Katherine Raleigh DiFrancesca. Preceded in death

by his parents, John J. and Hazel Raleigh, and brother-in-law Sal DiFrancesca. Grandfather of

Daryn, Maia, Jackson and Jameson. John was known for his big heart, generous spirit and love

of friends and family. (He was not known for his storytelling or his putting.) John most recently

lived in Naples, Florida, and felt most at home at Bear’s Paw, The Hermit Club and anywhere he

could celebrate life with friends. Because of COVID-19, funeral services for immediate family only

but service will be streamed by video (details at vitantonio-previtefuneralhomes.com). A celebration of

life is planned for when COVID restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, donations welcome to

St. Matthews House homeless shelter of Naples, Florida.
