JOSEPHINE “FIFI” BRESCIA

JOSEPHINE “FIFI” BRESCIA (nee Seminello) Aged 96. Preceded in death by her beloved husband

of 48 years, Tony Brush, her parents Michael and Mary Seminello, and her siblings Lena and Nicola.

Loving mother of Marie Frank (Joe) and Antonia (deceased). Treasured Nonnie of Joseph (Beth) Frank,

Michele LaPinta (Tony), Michael (Maria) Frank, and Jimmy (Holly) Frank. Devoted Great-Nonnie

of Austin Frank, Lexi Frank, Dominic LaPinta. Nicholas Frank, Nolan D. Frank, Christian Frank,

Vinnie LaPinta, Gabrielle Frank. Cherished Aunt and “Ma” to many, she had a large and

loving extended family. She always opened her heart and home to those who needed to feel welcome,

especially during the holidays. Born in Little Italy on February 11, 1920, Fifi was a lifelong member

of Holy Rosary Parish, and was a member of the St. Anthony women’s society. She served

as President of Murray Hill School PTA and was a proud member of University Lodge #192,

MEET AT HOLY ROSARY CHURCH WITH SHUTTLES AVAILABLE TO THE FUNERAL HOME).

Fifi was National Counselor of Italian Sons and Daughters of America.

She served as mentor and friend to countless coworkers in her career. Fifi delighted in sharing

her life through storytelling and had a special passion for travel – frequently taking trips well into

her 90’s. Her infectious smile, quick wit, and ability to tell it like it is will be forever remembered

and valued by all whose lives she has touched. YOU WIN! Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am

Thursday March 31, at Holy Rosary Church, Interment Lake View Cemetery. The family will

receive friends at THE VITANTONIO-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 2110 MURRAY HILL RD.,
