Jerry Tyrone Turner, beloved son of Robert Michael Turner and Sandra Turner Webb
was born September 17, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio. After a courageous battle with a long illness,
Jerry passed away May 5, 2024. Jerry's educational path led him through the Cleveland Public
school system and Max Hayes Trade School, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
He then pursued a career in landscaping at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, where he honed
his skills and developed a strong work ethic. Later, Jerry followed his passion for culinary excellence
and became a master griller at Webb's Bar-Be-Que Ribs restaurant, a family legacy he cherished deeply.
Under the guidance of his loving stepfather, George Webb, Jerry mastered the secret recipe for Webb's
renowned ribs and original barbeque sauce, a treasured family tradition. George played a significant role in Jerry's life,
instilling valuable lessons and mentorship that shaped his character and culinary expertise. Jerry's life was marked
by his unwavering commitment to his family. He was deeply devoted to his wife, Peggy, and was heartbroken by
her passing in January 2022. He also selflessly returned home to support his mother in raising five of her grandchildren,
serving as a guiding light and mentor to Bobby, CaSandra, Danyell, Darnell, and Donteze. Throughout his life, Jerry
was a man of unshakeable integrity, earning the love and respect of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love,
cherished memories, and a family who will deeply miss him. Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Liberatore Yuko;
his father, Robert Michael Turner; and his step-father, George Webb. He is survived by his devoted mother, Sandra Turner Webb;
his loving daughter, Deborah, and granddaughter, Nevaeh, both of Akron, OH; his brother, Joey; his sisters, Maya Seals and
Saraya Turner; eighteen nieces and nephews; and a vast extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.
May Jerry's memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
