Michael A Lenzo, Known for his charismatic demeaner
and for making everyone and anyone around him to feel comfortable
and at ease. Beloved son of the late Leo and Helen Lenzo (nee Colantonio);
dear brother of Diana R. Lenzo (Lou), Michelle Zabielski (twin) (Mike)
and Partner for Life: James M. Charpie. He attended St. Joseph High School,
his manyAccomplishments included Lenzo Beverage, Leo Lounge and the Theater.
Some combination of Director, Technical Director, Set Designer, Lighting Designer,
and/or Sound Designer for theaters including: East Cleveland Theater, Clague Playhouse,
Brecksville Theater on the Square, Brecksville Community Theater, Huntington Playhouse,
and Cleveland Institute of Music’s opera program. Was Technical Director for an
Off-Off Broadway Production in NYC. Theater awards won include: Broadway World,
Cleveland: 2018 Best Director, Comedy or Drama: The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes,
Best Scenic Design, Comedy or Drama: The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes,
Best Sound Design, Comedy or Drama: The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes,
Broadway World, Cleveland: 2017 Best Director: Frankenstein 1930, Best Scenic Design:
Frankenstein 1930 and Best Sound Design: Frankenstein 1930.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Friday February 11, at Holy Rosary Church, Entombment Lake View Cemetery.
