Nancy Sue Cerne, age 79, passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 12, 2025.
She was born on February 21, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her devoted parents, Frank A. and Susan Meyers.
A lifelong resident of the greater Cleveland area, Nancy also made her home in Euclid, Cleveland Heights,
Munson Township, and later in Grayson, Georgia. She graduated from Euclid High School and went on to build
a respected career as an administrative assistant, contributing her talents to Pepsi-Cola, and Picker International.
Known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and warm presence, Nancy formed many enduring friendships
throughout her professional life.
Nancy possessed a deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship, which blossomed into a lifelong love of antiques
and interior decorating. She especially cherished the character and beauty of Century Homes, and she found great joy
in restoring and adorning these treasured spaces.
Nancy is survived by her son, John M. Cerne Jr. (Angela), and her beloved grandchildren: Hannah (Christopher), Kaitlyn,
Claire, and Andrew; her beloved great grandchildren Colin and Penelope. She also leaves behind many dear friends
who enriched her life and shared in her joys.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Susan, and by her daughter, Victoria Marie Cerne,
with whom she will be laid to rest.
A Celebration of Life will be held in April 2026, with burial to follow at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights, Ohio,
where Nancy will rest alongside her cherished daughter.
