SALVATORE A. CORBO 76, passed away May 10, 2019.
Beloved husband of Carmella (nee Spirito). Loving father of
Joseph (Michelle), Tina Gagliano (Mark) and Tori (Leah). Devoted
grandfather of Annamarie and JoJo Corbo, Marina, Michael,
Sal Corbo, J.J., Mariana and Tommy Silvestri, Tony, Nick
and Tom Gagliano. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Antoinette
(nee Pinto). Dear brother of John (deceased) (Grace) Corbo.
Brother in law of Domenic (Gina, deceased) and Anthony Spirito.
Uncle, great uncle, and Godfather to many. Sal was a proud baker
and owner of Corbo's Dolceria from 1959-2005. The Corbo boys
were famous in Cleveland for the best peperoni bread, Italian bread,
pizza, cavatelli, meatballs, Italian sausage, cannoli, cassata cakes and
so much more. Many Italians gathered there for a glass of homemade
wine, good food, and often if in need of help. If you needed a confidant,
Sal was the man. He always shared his good will. He showed up for all in need.
God bless his beautiful soul. He worked alongside his brother and sons.
