Thomas Edward Evans PhD, MBA

Beloved husband of Renee C. Evans (nee Cirino) and the late Helen H. Evans

(nee Harrington); dear father of Edward A. Evans (Katie), stepfather of Thomas C. Providenti;

dear grandfather of Allison, Emily, Molly and Kelly Evans and Dylan and Talia Providenti;

dear brother of the late Wallace Evans and the late Yvonne Matson. 

A self-described naturalist, Tom loved to spend time in the garden,

bird watching, sailing, and fishing.  Indoors Tom loved to play games (especially bridge)

and read (especially the comic strips).  Golf and singing were his favorite past times mostly

because of the friendships he formed as part of those activities.  Tom was employed by

Case Western Reserve University for over 25 years.  He was very proud of the work he did

as a research scientist and as a business manager in the School of Medicine. 

The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions, in his name,

to the American Cancer Society or an organization of their choice.

The family will receive friends at THE VITANTONIO-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME

PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES AND INTERMENT WILL BE HELD OCTOBER 7TH.
