THOMAS G. STAAB, 81, passed away Feb. 17, 2019. Devoted husband for 58 years to Geraldine (nee Tizzano); loving father of Mark (dec.), Scott (Vicky), Lisa (David Sadowski), Andrea (Bob) Parker, and Veronica (Tim Springob Jr.); grandfather of Ava (Nic) Nelson, Alanna (Danny) Batten, Keri, Serena, Autumn, Sage and Blake; great-grandfather of Nolin, Niko and Nash; brother of Joyce (Patrick) Montgomery; brother-in-law of Anthony (Joyce), Benjamin (Donna), and Donald (Debbie); uncle and friend of many. Retired mail carrier, U.S. Army veteran, avid golfer, played baseball with Babes of 1916 Senior League, fan of all sports and loved a good joke. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Friday at Vitantonio-Previte Funeral Home, 5236 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
