Annette DeLuca also known as “Gay” was the type of person that left a kind impact on anyone who crossed her path. She was the definition of selfless love and whether you were family or a stranger you felt that. She was a caretaker by heart and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She met her late husband Frank when they were very young; they loved to dance together. “Grandma Gay” was her nickname from her grandkids and they loved her dearly and will treasure all the fun times they played together. Gay was known for her excellent home cooked culinary skills in the kitchen. Having lived in Little Italy in Cleveland most of her life; her sauce and lasagna skills were next level. She loved “The Neighborhood” (Little Italy) dearly and had many close friends whom she considered family throughout the years. When visiting her you were never left hungry or unloved in her presence. She showed the world what it meant to give unconditional love her entire life to family, friends and strangers. This world has been left a better place because she was in it. Her family is forever thankful for her and is at peace that she is in heaven dancing with “Grandpa Frank”. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for Graveside Services 11:00am Thursday August 19th at Lake View Cemetery. (PLEASE MEET AT THE MAYFIELD GATE AT 10:40AM)
